Silver for Team Yarrington

Local event management company Yarrington is celebrating this week after being named Best Production Company in the 2010 Meetings & Incentive Travel Industry Awards.

For the third time, Yarrington was shortlisted in the Best Production Company category, this year achieving its highest honour to date - the Silver trophy.

Mike Foyle and Shirley Davies were there to receive the award for the team. Mike said:

These prestigious industry awards are decided by customer votes rather than a panel of judges. Shirley added:
"To receive this accolade again shows that our customers really value the quality of our work."

The event was held on Monday 22nd February at the Novotel London West. The evening was hosted by BBC TV presenter Kate Silverton.

In the last twelve months, Yarrington has organised more than 70 events for clients, on both local and national scales. From three-hour meetings of 12 people to corporate anniversary celebrations of 1500 guests, the events team has provided solutions and results for a range of business events. Roadshows have taken Yarrington to 20 destinations nationwide for a range of media, corporate and public sector clients including Daily Mail and Metro newspapers, the Children's Workforce Development Council and Telford & Wrekin Council. The team is currently working on major awards ceremonies for Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and Global Radio and the first national conference for Neal's Yard Remedies.

Yarrington is a full-service production company, with the events department being supported by an in-house video studio and design team, providing solutions for branding, literature and marketing, as well as sound and lighting, audio visual equipment and projection.
