Oakengates Theatre has been transformed into a state of the art performance and community space now called The Place. The new centre offers a unique selection of services. Situated just a few minutes drive from the M54, Telford Town Centre and historic Ironbridge Gorge, there couldn't be a more central venue for the perfect event. The auditorium offers a flexible space for hosting a wide range of events and performances, exhibitions and conferences, fully equipped with the latest technology with PA, lighting rig, flat floor matrix and tiered seating system that can be tailored for your event.
The Community Room is designed for hosting the perfect boardroom meeting or small theatre style event. The interview room is situated in the entrance foyer at The Place, this space is ideally suited for small meetings which seats up to six people. The Life Long Learning Suite offers an 18 computer learning suite available for hire and training.
