Dating back to the 13th century, the Hotel is steeped in history. From a monastery it became a beautiful home for speakers of the Houses of Parliament and Abraham Darby, famous for the Industrial Revolution in the nearby Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge. The beautiful gardens set around the Grade I listed Gatehouse are a perfect location for a picnic lunch, Summer BBQ or some team building events to enhance your meetings and events.
The Mill is our largest Conference venue, a 13th Century Grade II listed building. Set a short walk from Reception, it can hold 150 delegates and has two floors. Within the main house there are small lounge areas, ideal for tea and coffee breaks or syndicate areas. Private dining is also available within the Priory Restaurant or the Prior’s Sanctury. The Hotel is a truly unique venue for the area and with the mix of historical rooms and modern facilities, The Madeley Court Hotel has recently been refurbished to a very high standard.
